Bridal Preview Information
Please bring a minimum of 5 pictures of hair and 5 pictures of makeup. A favorite celebrity on the red carpet can be great for inspiration, don't feel like you need to stick to images of typical “wedding” hair and makeup! Be sure to include a few photos from my own website or instagram so that I can see which aspects of my work you respond to. Be a wary of Pinterest, which can skew towards dated, overly photoshopped or AI photos. It can also be helpful to see photos of a time you loved how you looked as well as how you typically style your own hair and makeup.
You should come in with a clear idea and firm decision on what shape you want your hair (up, down, partially up) but we will have an in depth consultation to figure out the details together. Be sure to also bring pictures of your wedding dress, any jewelry and your veil if you will be wearing one.
Please come with clean hair, either dry or damp is fine. I also suggest wearing a white shirt with a neckline similar to your dress. If you plan on wearing hair extensions, please bring those to the preview as well (I recommend Luxy Hair). Stop all retinol or Retin-A products a minimum of one week before the preview.
Previews typically take a minimum of 3 hours, please plan accordingly. The preview is our chance to get to know each other, please come by yourself. Additional guests or family members are not permitted for the first 2 hours, but are welcome to join at the end of session. Your preview can be paid for with cash or by Zelle and is due on or before the day of the preview.
I suggest parking up the hill, West of Steiner (away from the Union Street shops). I often leave my car all day, but you will have a break to check on your car, if necessary, as all street parking is 2 hours. I do not recommend parking at a meter, you will need to fill it.
If you need to reach me the morning of your preview, please text or call me at 707.217.2256.
Thank you!
